From Fiji
Cancer treatment
Nishesh came from Fiji carrying hope and apprehension
Nishesh Pawan Kumar travelled from Fiji to India for cancer treatment, and it was a privilege to be with him from the airport to his consultations.
“When Nishesh arrived at Delhi Airport, he was on a wheelchair, carrying not just luggage but a lot of hope and apprehension.”
Nishesh Pawan Kumar travelled all the way from Fiji to India for his cancer treatment at a hospital in Noida. When he arrived at Delhi Airport, he was in a wheelchair. He was carrying more than luggage. He was carrying a lot of hope, and a lot of apprehension too.
We were there for that first airport pickup. From that moment to his consultations at the hospital, it has been our privilege to be a part of his journey.
Seeing him stand stronger with the team treating him is a moment of true gratitude. I want to thank the oncology team in Noida for their expertise, their empathy and their support. And I have immense respect for Nishesh and his family, for their courage and their trust.
How I helped
- Met him for his first pickup at Delhi Airport
- Stayed with him through his consultations at the hospital in Noida
